Cirrus Embark

For new owners of pre-owned Cirrus aircraft, we assist in utilizing the Cirrus Embark program, which provides up to three days of Complimentary Cirrus Transition Training As part of the Mach 1 Aviation team:

  • We assist with program enrollment: Coordinating with Cirrus Aircraft to ensure the client meets program requirements.
  • We organize training: Tailoring the schedule and resources to fit the client’s individual needs, including location and equipment selection.
  • We provide information: Explaining program terms and details, ensuring the client is fully prepared to leverage Cirrus Embark benefits.

Details and Full Offering

Transition Training is conducted in accordance with the rigorous standards of the Platinum Cirrus Training Center and includes:

  • Aircraft: Access to modern Cirrus SR20, SR22, and SR22 Turbo models at Mach 1 Aviation, with rental options available for training purposes. Clients renting aircraft for training enjoy exclusive discounted rates.
  • Flight Simulator: Training includes access to a fully equipped Cirrus simulator with Perspective Plus avionics, enabling safe practice of emergency procedures and advanced scenarios.
  • Individualized Approach: The program is tailored to your experience, expectations, and availability. Typical training consists of 2–5 sessions, with an additional 1–2 sessions for IFR pilots.
  • Advanced Transition Training: For IFR-rated pilots, we offer specialized modules focusing on approach procedures, advanced avionics usage, and IFR flight practice in IMC conditions.
  • Flight Review and Instrument Proficiency Check: As part of the program, we can conduct the required Flight Review (BFR) and Instrument Proficiency Check (IPC), ensuring full readiness for IFR operations and maintaining pilot currency.
  • Cirrus Approach Materials: All training is supported by Cirrus Approach materials, including interactive e-learning modules, instructional videos, and self-study resources, accessible before practical sessions.
  • Understanding Pilot Habits: With experience in aircraft like Cessna, Piper, Beechcraft, Mooney, and Diamond Star, we identify and modify pilot habits to align with Cirrus operating procedures.
  • Risk Management and Decision-Making: Our modules on Aeronautical Decision Making (ADM) and risk management equip pilots with the skills to make sound decisions during flight.
  • Partner in Command Program: We train passengers accompanying pilots on basic safety procedures, cockpit communication, and emergency response.
  • Location Flexibility: Training can be conducted at Mach 1 Aviation or at any location where your aircraft is based, depending on your preference and schedule.
  • Training Costs:
    • Hourly rate: $110 per hour of instructor time at Mach 1 Aviation.
